Situated on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Grand River, Grand Haven, MI offers a myriad of year-round recreational opportunities in our state, county and township parks. The Grand Haven boardwalk spans 2-1/2 miles of Grand River frontage from the pier head at the Grand Haven State Park to downtown Grand Haven. Many other local parks front Lake Michigan as well as the Grand River, its bayous and smaller lakes. Hiking and biking trails abound in the area as well as dune overlooks where you can get panoramic views of the Lake Michigan Shoreline.
